Little man by perodog Little man by perodog
Little man is living in my breast.
I call him for talk when I feel gloomy.
Sometimes We quarrel intensely.

I just love your works. They're so intense and full of meanings.
May I ask how long does it usually take you to finish an oil painting like that? And have you worked in other mediums, like acrylic perhaps? Just questions from fellow painter, I'm acrylic user myself as I get mad waiting until oils dry

Thank you!
Recently I paint only in oil or watercolor.
so I want to try acrylic too!!

About my oil painting,
Usually I paint some works at the same time.
It takes about 2or3 months for 5 to 10 paintings.
and I paint with a copal resin.
It is a traditional medium which makes oil dry quicker and stronger!
And it also make surface glossy.
Good luck:wave:

Watercolor is great, I like it too. Generally I tend to mix medias, use acrylic with colored pencils or watercolor with markers and colored pencils and everything in between :)
Hearing about copal resin I think I have to give it a try, maybe oils will become my friends ^_^ I heard about alkyd oils that dry much faster but are they any good I have no idea.
Acrylics are really versatile, you can use them like oils or watercolors, their drying time is both pro and con - sometimes there's no time to blend well  but with all mediums for acrylics like retarder, texture medium, various gel mediums (pearl, glossy, satin, flowing etc, etc, etc) possibilities are endless.
